We're building something from nothing. We need people who want to be part of that.
We're obsessive learners, not just doers. Every engineer reads product. Every designer writes code. We look for people who can't stop asking why — not people who are comfortable with the answer they've already been given.
We move at startup speed, and we're honest about what that means. Building from nothing takes deep, sustained effort. This isn't for everyone, and we say that plainly. If you want to give everything to something that matters, we'd like to talk.

Where people work
Four core areas. Everyone works across them.
Platform, mobile (iOS & Android), API, infrastructure. The people who build and run the product.
Creator relationships, onboarding tools, and creator success. The link between the product and the people who use it most.
Brand partnerships, ad product, and revenue. Building something advertisers actually want to be part of.
Community seeding, growth, and launch operations. Getting Circus into the hands of the right people at the right moment.
Smaller supporting functions include legal, finance, and ops.
What I'm Looking For
Tell us what you'd build. careers@circus.app
The link between the product and the creators who use it most. You'll onboard early creators, gather feedback, and translate what you hear into product decisions.
Own the API layer, feed ranking, and platform services. Bun + TypeScript + PostgreSQL + Kafka. You'll be close to the data model from day one.
Build the fan-facing iOS app from early access through public launch. SwiftUI-first, with a focus on feed performance and creator tools.
Build the Android app alongside iOS. Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and a codebase that's genuinely new — no legacy to fight.
Own content moderation, policy enforcement, and the tools creators use to run safe communities. You'll set the standard for how Circus handles harm at scale.
Don't fit a box? That's probably a good sign. Tell us what you'd build, why Circus is the right place to build it, and what you'd need to do it well.
