Content Guidelines.

What you can post on Circus and what we remove without exception. Applies to every creator, member, and community.

Effective 1 January 2026 · Circus Corporation

Circus is built for creators and the communities they run. These guidelines explain what content is allowed and what we will always remove. By using Circus, you agree to follow them. Violations may result in content removal, account restriction, or permanent suspension.

Overview

Every post is judged against the same standards — whether it comes from a creator with a million members or someone posting for the first time.

Step 1

You post

Content is published to a community with the maturity level that creator set for that space.

Step 2

We review

Automated systems, member reports, and human reviewers evaluate against these guidelines.

Step 3

We act

Outcomes range from no action to removal, restrictions, suspension, or referral to authorities.

Age requirements

Minimum age to use Circus is 16. You need to meet the minimum age for your country when you create an account. Creator Fund earnings and monetization features require additional age verification where the law requires it — details are in our Terms and Creator policies.

Circus uses declared age, verification signals, and automated checks to enforce age requirements. Attempting to bypass age requirements violates our Terms of Service and may result in permanent suspension.

Content spectrum

Think of Circus content in three bands. Most of what you see is in the first two; the third is never negotiable.

Allowed

Welcome everywhere

  • Creative work — art, music, writing, video, photography, performance
  • Commentary, satire, parody, and criticism
  • Education and information on sensitive topics, handled responsibly
  • Community events, fan interaction, and creator updates

Never allowed

  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM), real or AI-generated
  • Non-consensual intimate imagery
  • Incitement to violence, terrorism, hate speech, doxxing

Creator responsibilities

You are responsible for everything you publish and for the standards inside communities you run.

Disclose paid relationships Label sponsored content, affiliates, and commercial arrangements clearly.
